Susana Hong

Makeup artist Susana Hong recognized her fascination with makeup when she started giving her barbie dolls makeovers with markers and kitchen scissors. Now, with more than two decades of industry experience under her belt, she is considered one of the top makeup artists in Canada.

Susana’s celebrity clientele includes Kate Upton, Karlie Kloss, Michelle Rodriguez, Kim Cattrall, Jane Fonda, Yvonne Strahovski, Nicola Peltz, Sandra Oh, Jared Leto, Nicole Richie, Juliette Lewis, Hannah John Kamen, Niles Fitch. She also works with music giants Shania Twain, Katy Perry, Kid Rock, Nelly Furtado, Alessia Cara, Emily Haines, and Mel C.

Susana’s work has appeared in the pages of Elle Canada, Glamour UK, Fashion, Flare, Pulp, Glow, and Noisé Magazine, and in advertising campaigns for Joe Fresh, Ssense, Perricone, Sephora, Browns, Holt Renfrew, Aldo, Hudson’s Bay, Marshalls, Simons, Aritzia, and Dove.

In addition to her print work, Susana has worked on runway shows for Line Knitwear, Jeremy Laing, Ruffian, Jean-Pierre Braganza, Steven Tai, and Calla Haynes, and has been invited to appear on Fashion Television, Breakfast Television, Star! and Etalk Daily.
